Overview of role
This is a part-time teaching role for one academic year : between 3-10 periods/week contact time + 3 hours support to students/class cover.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Plan and deliver Physical Education lessons based on our curriculum.
- Assess students formatively and summatively, against criteria of the French curriculum and our own bespoke curriculum giving regular feedback
- Teach, assess and report on PE Baccalaureate evaluations and exams
- Help plan PE day and other events
- Liaise with colleagues and parents to give feedback on student progress
- Work as a team
- Incorporate the mission and values of the school into every class
- Use long and short range planning to ensure the curriculum is met and aligned with the School standards
- Strong organisational and class management skills
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and class meetings

- QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant degree in PE
- Interest in other/international curriculums
- Experience of student-led inquiry-based learning

- Ability to teach across primary and secondary.
- Familiarity with iPad apps for teaching and learning
