Overview

The Admissions & Outreach (Digital Marketing) Assistant will support the Admissions & Outreach team so they may extend the profile, reputation and awareness of the school, nationally and internationally through focused initiatives to deliver the school’s student recruitment objectives and build positive brand awareness. This is a multifaceted support role which requires a digital marketing qualification, excellent customer service, initiative, ease with numbers and data manipulation and a demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • provide an outstanding, thorough and customer-focussed Admissions process for the school;
  • diligently follow all inquiries and ensure they are dealt with promptly and to the full satisfaction of the parents/guardians;
  • demonstrate proactivity with ensuring accurate records are maintained at all times;
  • organise private tours for the Admissions team, Parent and Student Ambassadors;
  • manipulate Admissions data and provide accurate reports in a timely fashion;
  • provide Community Manager assistance with social media channels in English and French;
  • provide daily administrator support with the school website;
  • provide general administrative support to the Outreach & Admissions team and SLT as reasonably required;
  • act as a role-model in the promotion of school, its aims, standards, and ideals and model these both in the school and in the wider community;
  • take photos and videos of school events;
  • any ad hoc tasks requested by management.

Ideal knowledge/experience

  • Experience capturing data for analysis: SEO, analyse Google analytics, surveys and other market research to look for patterns and trends;
  • Experience producing graphs, reports and data analysis;
  • Experience in updating (CMS) content management system / website management

Education & Experience Required

  • You speak English to a native level and have a a good knowledge of French in order to respond to enquiries by email and phone in French and write social media captions in French;
  • You have excellent communication skills (particularly with grammar);
  • You have excellent customer service skills - you are very professional, helpful and pleasant with customers;
  • You have a strong work ethic and are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You do not wait for others to give you work;
  • You have initiative and common sense;
  • You have excellent team spirit;
  • You have strong analytical & problem-solving skills;
  • You have the ability to multitask and work efficiently and effectively;
  • You have the desire to work in a multilingual and multicultural environment;
  • You have strong IT skills (Google suite);
  • You display commitment to safeguarding and protection of children.

This job description sets out the duties of the post at the time it was drawn up. The post holder may be required from time to time to undertake other duties within the School as may be reasonably expected, without changing the general character of the duties or the level of responsibility entailed. This is a common occurrence and would not justify a reconsideration of the grading of the post.
