Overview
Reporting to the Senior Executive Assistant to the Head of School, the successful candidate will support them to provide an efficient and effective running of the Head’s office.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as first line contact for the Head of School
- Assist the Senior Executive Assistant in maintaining a smooth-running and efficient office by dealing with all administrative functions and anticipating and scheduling regular events and meetings
- Manage the Head’s diary and appointments
- Assist with communication to the community and external stakeholders
- Organise the logistics and communications of certain groups’ visits (AEFE, CIS, ISI,etc)
- Undertake any ad-hoc duties as requested by the Head

What we are looking for
- Native level English, ideally some knowledge of French
- Able to respect utmost confidentiality regarding all information relating to this post
- Experience of managing a diverse workload
- Confident communicator, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organised, with an ability to self-plan and prioritise workloads, along with planning work schedules for others
- Able to work alongside all members of staff with the ability to show tact, diplomacy and professionalism at all times
- Ability to touch type
- High level of IT skills including Word and Excel. Knowledge of Google Docs preferable
- Ideally training as a clerk.
This job description sets out the duties of the post at the time it was drawn up.
