Admissions & Outreach Assistant

40 hours/week, permanent

Start date: immediately


Salary: £21-24,000/annum or commensurate with experience

Overview

The Admissions & Outreach Assistant will support the Admissions & Outreach (Marketing & Comms) team so they may extend the profile, reputation and awareness of the school, nationally and internationally through focused initiatives to deliver the School’s student recruitment objectives and build positive brand awareness. This is a multifaceted support role which requires excellent customer service, initiative, data skills and a demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently. You will also cover the main reception desk approximatley 3-5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities 

Under the direction of the Outreach Manager:

  • To provide an outstanding, customer focussed admissions process for the school; 
  • To ensure accurate records are maintained at all times;
  • To organise private tours for the Admissions team;
  • To maintain a database of all inquiries and to ensure all enquires are dealt with promptly and to the full satisfaction of the parents and families;
  • To monitor Admissions data and provide accurate reports to the SLT in a timely fashion;
  • To assist in the planning of and attend a range of events such as open days, careers forum etc.
  • To support the Multimedia Producer & Communications Officer in maintaining and developing the school website and social media channels;
  • To provide administrative support to the Admissions & Outreach team and SLT as reasonably required;
  • To be a role-model in the promotion of School brand, its aims, standards, and ideals and to model these both in the school and in the wider community; 
  • To provide excellent customer service at the front reception desk approximately 3-5 hours/week;
  • Any ad hoc tasks requested by the Outreach manager or Senior Leadership team.

Ideal knowledge/experience

  • Data management - coordinate all systems and procedures relating to data capture use and analysis: SEO, analyse Google analytics, surveys, polls, and other market research to look for patterns and trends;
  • Create graphs, reports, and detailed data analysis to the highest standard;
  • Experience in updating (CMS) content management system; composer.

Education & Experience Required

  • You are a native (level) French speaker with excellent English;
  • Excellent customer service skills - you are very professional and helpful;
  • Demonstrated experience in a PA role / administrative support role, ideally within a school environment;
  • You have a strong work ethic and are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You do not wait for others to give you work;
  • You have strong initiative and common sense;
  • Excellent team spirit and communication skills (both written and verbal); 
  • Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing circumstances;
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills;
  • KPI orientated - you respond very well to targets and deadlines;
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently and effectively;
  • Desire to work in a multilingual and multicultural environment;
  • Calm and patient under pressure;
  • Strong IT skills (Google suite);
  • Display commitment to safeguarding and protection of children.
